Nature Connection

Remembering our true nature & discovering our own unique path to thriving

The Beauty of Deep Nature Connection

Deep nature connection is more than just being in nature, it is a sacred pathway home to ourselves, an ancient practice that reawakens our innate bond with the living Earth. Through mindful presence and sensory awakening, we not only develop a profound relationship with the natural world but also rediscover our own wild soul.

This practice invites us to slow down to nature's rhythm, stepping out of our fast-paced modern lives and into the timeless flow of the natural world. As we surrender to this slower pace, we begin to drop deeper into our bodies, tuning into our own rhythms and innate wisdom and the intelligence that flows through all living things.

Nature becomes our mirror and our teacher, offering gentle invitations to awaken our senses and rediscover our childlike sense of wonder. As we quieten our minds and open our hearts to the natural world, we begin to access ancient wisdom stored within our cells, awakening to the truth that we are inseparable from the web of life. We open ourselves to the subtle messages and magic that nature constantly shares.

The practice serves as a bridge to our authentic selves, helping us shed the layers of separation that modern life has created. Through this intimate dialogue with nature, we not only reduce stress and enhance creativity but can also experience profound spiritual insights and healing, discovering that our own inner landscape is as vast and mysterious as the wilderness itself.

As we deepen this connection and align with nature's unhurried rhythms, we naturally become stewards of the environment, developing an embodied understanding of our interdependence with all living things and experiencing the deep peace that comes from remembering our place in the great family of Life.

    • Deep nature connection

My Role: To gently guide us into a state of presence, helping us drop into our body, awaken our senses, and open to nature's wisdom. And to catch our stories to support a deepening of our sense of belonging with our Self, each other and the natural world.

Seasonal Retreat Days

Full-day gatherings dedicated to:

  • Connection

  • Playful exploration

  • Healing and nourishment

  • Collective regeneration

These Retreat Days are offered in line with the wheel of the year and are inspired by nature's cycles and the discoveries from my own path of reconnection and belonging, and infused with wisdom received through the 8 Shields inspired programmes I have participated in through Village Nature (now Hearth).

"Marielke's Wondering with Nature workshop has helped me heal my relationship with the planet and re-open myself up to the healing potential in just spending time with nature with a sense of childlike innocence and wonder and remind me that we are not separate from Nature- we are part of it. Marielke shows us how by opening up our senses to the sound of birds, rustling leaves and running water, the smell and taste of the air, the sensation of grass and wild plants on our skin, and of course taking in the beautiful sights all around us, we can step back in to what it means to be a part of a connected ecosystem and planet where we can experience Mother Nature's gifts in a way that is gentle and considerate"
